A brief synopsis:
Alexis Pointdextre is about to be married to Aline. He decides that their whole village should be able to share in their happiness so he hires a sorcerer to make a love potion which is slipped into everyone’s drinks at the wedding feast. However, the love potion causes them to all fall asleep and on waking, they fall in love with the first person they see…
